Max has a decade of experience in life sciences, with a synthetic biology PhD from Oxford and two master’s degrees from Cambridge in biotechnology and business. He started his career in consulting at Microsoft and Cambridge Consultants, before working as an R&D scientist at Gen9. He then worked in biotech VC at RT Partners and consulted for deep tech, consumer health and other startups around the world, including serving as an advisor to future food companies Formo and Jelly Drops before co-founding Hoxton Farms.

Patrick leads the 100-strong creative team at forpeople, an independent global creative studio who work to make the future more human by reshaping how we eat, move, live, and create together. At forpeople he’s led innovation programmes for Dell, Nike, and Huawei, has partnered with NIO to build a new era EV company, dived deep down the AI rabbit hole, and delivered projects you’ve maybe flown in, sat on, drunk, worn, or played. Currently thinking about how people will build, feed, and connect the world in 2050.
